Lu-Ray Property Management is a local property management company with properties across the Edmond and North Oklahoma City metro area. We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. A Maintenance Technician with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. Requirements: -Knowledge of general maintenance, preventative maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC and appliance repair (replace garbage disposals and dishwashers, replace/repair ceiling fans, move in/out washer and dryer including hookup, move in/out refrigerators, change furnace filters and install hardware, towel bars, blinds) -Understanding of major mechanical components in a residential property -Assist in rehabs (removal of fixtures, faucets, closet rods, counter tops, cabinets) -Experience in Make-Ready with strong attention to detail -Self-motivated with the ability to work independently -Organized with excellent time-management and problem-solving skills -Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace window screens etc.) -Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all residents, team members, and management. -Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, light carpentry etc.) -Flexible availability, on-call rotating schedule for nights, weekends and holidays -Successfully pass a background check and drug screening -Must have a valid drivers license Skills: -Proven experience as maintenance technician -Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC -Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods -Working knowledge of tools and common appliances -Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills -Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime -High school diploma or equivalent Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: -8 hour shift -Holidays -Weekend availability Work Location: Multiple Locations
