Name: Roxy (female dog) Age: 6 (born 12/18/16) Breed: appears boxer/ lab mix Weight: approx 40 pounds Spayed and in great health, great shape Vaccinations: Rabies booster expires 9/20/2024 Roxy is a genuine best friend. She is people-friendly and very playful; she loves attention. She loves walks and running. She runs very fast! She’s an indoor dog but she also loves the outdoors, except if it’s raining or thundering. When she is excited or anxious she will chew on solid toy bones. She is house trained and will let u know when she needs to go outdoors by whining, sitting at the door, or scratching on a surface. She will also let u know when she wants to come inside by scratching at the door. She will chase squirrels and cats, so it’s best if she is kept in a fenced yard or on a leash during walks. She usually controls herself while on the leash during walks. She is also choosy about getting friendly with other dogs. She’ll eat three times a day. She enjoys eating Purina’s Healthy Weight with Real Chicken, and enjoys an occasional small treat of a piece of cheese or peanut butter. She is not a fan of bathing, and is intimidated by garden hose. However, a shower in the tub a couple times a month is doable (every two weeks or so). On hot summer days she may actually request it 🐶 Roxy makes a wonderful companion, loves active lifestyles. She has a bed, a dog house, and plenty of necessities to keep her comfortable and healthy.
