Reliable Bassist needed for Original act

Start up act of mature rockers looking for reliable bass guitarist to complete the act. Genre is Hard Rock/Southern Rock. 95% originals, with only a few choices covers thrown in, if they feel right. Experienced musicians, well known, traveled and respected frontman and vocalist, surprisingly good but relatively unknown guitarist and drummer, are writing new material for production and release in 2023/24. Need a bass player with acumen to pick up some rhythm lines and provide that driving low end that'll kick the songs into high gear. You don't have to be Geddy Lee or Chris Squire, but whatever you can bring to the table would be welcomed. Rhythms are basic, but hard driving. Think 70s and 80s hard rock vein... Backing vox are a definite plus, as is stage experience. We have quality stage and studio gear already, so all that's needed, is the bass, a few songs, and the bookings. We're all 50's+, so the sense of urgency is tempered with realistic expectations and a laid back atmosphere. You won't just be playing established lines, but helping to write and arrange em to suit your tastes as well as making sure they fit the song structure. Not looking for rent a bassist, nor someone who can't make rehearsal sessions at least once every 2 weeks. Attitude and reliability are as much, if not more important than skill set... This gig is for a seasoned player who is ready to commit to something solid and long term that doesn't bring any drama to your table. Just please don't already have 2 other bands that you have to book "around" their schedules. No hard drugs or guys without their own transportation.
