To the two guys i met at gas station off interstate about 6/7 years ago. You sold me a female great dane on the cheap. I suspect she is not purebred but since I didn’t buy her for breeding purposes no big deal. She was spayed soon after picking her up. She had horrendous diarrhea but an upgrade to a quality food took care of that. She gets along well with my cats, elderly maltese (he loves her) and a german shepherd mix i am keeping for my niece until they get to home where they can have him. So i suspect if you had let her out of her kennel she would have done fine. I notice when in her kennel (which is almost never) she will bark at cats and go up against bars like she wants to rip their heads off. I suspect she does this to see them jump cuz when out of her kennel she is no threat to them. EVER. She is a loyal dog and smart. She has been trained for off leash and she’s very good at it. We were out on a walk and a german shepherd came tearing down the driveway barking his head off. Fortunately owner was able to stop it before it got to us. Gemma looked at dog, i said no and we kept walking. You gave up a really good dog, on the cheap, cuz you didn’t take the time to get to know her. And i would like to thank you for that. She is my second great dane and her disposition and training are every bit as good as my first great dane (whom i had from 8 weeks on so knew her background). Enclosed a pic in case you see this post.
