GESTRA Engineering is a consulting firm specializing in geotechnical, structural, pavement, and construction materials engineering. We are located in the Milwaukee and Madison area and are looking for geotechnical drillers for our Milwaukee location.
Drillers lead in the operation of company owned drill rigs and geoprobes. Other duties include completing soil borings, monitoring wells, loading and unloading support equipment, shoveling, some survey work and equipment maintenance.
This position is year round, outdoor, physical work.
Applicants should have mechanical aptitude, good communication skills and the ability to follow directions well.
Requirements
-High School Diploma/GED
-Class B or Higher CDL
-Requires good driving record and valid driver's license
-Must pass pre-employment drug screening test
-Must be able to lift 50-80 pounds.
Additional Info
-Full-time position.
-Hours generally 7 AM to 5 PM
-Occasional overnight travel and Saturday hours
-We are willing to train motivated individuals
