OLD SCHOOL STYLE: country blues, early Chicago blues, any kind of old blues before the invention of the electric bass. My intuitive, one-of-a-kind bass can catch almost any musical fastball coming it's way. It's got a big fat tuba-like tone that can be felt in the belly---doghouse bass, as I've heard it called. And I'm all too happy carrying that simple bottom line. My bass responds to rhythm and key changes immediately and I don't mind driving up to two hours for an audition or gig.
