Hi! A few months ago I decided to write my own songs and record them at home after a break away from the playing out scene. I bought the bare essentials on a budget along with Pro Tools. After Googling my way through Pro Tools I managed to record a couple songs that I felt were ok for what they were. In the last month I wrote and recorded two versions of one song and posted them to You Tube. I’m pretty happy with how they turned out and I feel they get closer to how on default I sound as a player. I’m able to approximate many styles but they are all colored by what comes naturally to me. Anyway I’m wondering if my readers would check out the songs and see if they would be interested in collaborating or feel I would be a good fit into what they are doing, either in the studio or live. I’m really not interested in covers, just originals with maybe a cover or two thrown in. If you watch the videos give me any feed back you feel appropriate.
