Give back by volunteering with our veterans at the Clara White Mission Community Garden. Acts of kindness help boost the esteem of the veterans who are experiencing homelessness. Bond with them over gardening and see how much of an impact you make on thier lives. The food grown in this garden is used in our culinary arts kitchen. We feed more than 1,000 homeless people a week using some of the food grown in the Veterans Garden. A tradition that started with Clara White feeding neighbors in the 1880s, the mission's feeding program provides hot, nutritious meals to our area's homeless population seven days a week. Thunderstorms will cancel the event however, we welcome light rain. Dress for weather success!
