Description

Want to learn the basics of park skating on quad skates? Mini Ramp & pumping If you're totally new to the skate park, this is the session for you! We'll go over basic stance, get used to skating forwards and backwards in a ramp, and the basic skill of pumping. You don't need to have any park skating experience, but we do require that you have prior skating experience on flat ground - you must be comfortable skating forward, backward, stopping, and falling. Drop-Ins and Basic Stalls You've got limited park experience, perhaps you know how to pump and go down banks and ramps, but now want to hone your drop-in skills. We'll work on establishing the right drop-in mechanics for you and build up your confidence to get you dropping in consistently! For those who are ready to take it up a notch within this session, we'll start to work on basic stalls too! ------ Pre-requisites: All attendees must wear protection including knee pads, helmets, and wrist guards, and we strongly recommend elbow pads. Hip/butt pads are optional but also good. We require all participants be comfortable skating forward, backward, stopping, and falling on flat ground.
