Topic: High Efficiency Ventilation Systems to Improve Indoor Air Quality Abstract: The Passive Building concept involves strategies for ventilation to save energy while proving occupant comfort. Understand building occupant comfort research, standards and design considerations. BIO: Tom McDermott is the current regional sales manager for Swegon North America. He has been providing equipment solutions for the HVAC industry for over 30 years. Working as a sales engineer, regional manager or director of sales, his systems approach to solutions has benefited from his experience with waterside, airside, and control design. Current work with Swegon focuses on high efficiency energy recovery ventilation along with chilled beam design. Tom is a member of the ASHRAE Applied Standard Subcommittee.e.
