Welcome to the Cricut Crash Course: An accelerated version of our famous 4-week Cricut 101 Class!In this class you'll gain all the basic knowledge you need to hit the ground running with your new Cricut (or the one that's still in the box!) Packed with tips, tricks & how to avoid the "oops!" moments. Take the frustration out of learning with us here at The Craftpreneur. All tools, machines, mats, and materials are provided. No need to lug your machine back and forth! What comes with the Crash Course? * Access to Cricut Access (paid subscription) through our Craftpreneur Class Cricut account during AND after your classes end. * 20% of all vinyl purchases on class-day. * ALL materials and supplies to DIY! You will be leaving class with 2 projects you complete yourself! * Class guide given to outline the different focus points. * Hands on small-group help with plenty of tips, tricks & questions answered. What you will learn: Learn how to navigate Cricut Design Space (CDS) to create your own designs in Cricut's software. Learn what welding, attaching, layering and other functions really do!How to make the design on the screen come to LIFE when you create a physical craft from your designing. You will be cutting your design in layers, and learning how to piece them back together.Learn the differences between vinyls and what ways they are best used. We will be working with adhesive (sticker vinyl) and heat transfer (iron-on vinyl). We'll go through the different ways to upload images & make designs for all different kinds of applications. We'll teach you about all the things you can make, what you actually need, and where to find it. You'll leave with 2 completed projects, all with your own personal touches!All Cricut 101 students get to enjoy Cricut Design Space's paid options with the Class Account! You will have access to this for as long as you would like -- just for being a part of the class. What you will need: You will need Cricut Design Space pre-downloaded on your computer before class. You can find the software at www.cricut.com/design You will be using the class account for the class, so don't worry about paying for any subscriptions. We got you covered! You will only need to bring a laptop. Unfortunately, tablets are not able to be used due to the different interface, and not having all the same function. This course REQUIRES basic computer skills. You must be comfortable and confident in downloading files from the internet, navigating a web browser, and finding files within your computer. This is an accelerated course and to achieve our projects you will need to be able to use basic computer skills without trouble. Q&A How long is this class? This is a 1 day, 4 hour course.Should I take Cricut 101 (4 Week Course) or the Cricut Crash Course? This depends on how confident you feel with technology, and how much time you have to spare. This is a great option to get your feet off the ground in the Cricut Crash Course, but Cricut 101 (4 Week Course) does go more in-depth over the 4 week period. Can kids take this class? We ask that all participants are 13+ and accompanied by a parent. If you have any other questions about age groups, please feel free to reach out to the shop during normal business hours. What is your refund policy? The Craftpreneur tries to accommodate changes and last-minute schedule needs, however there is a no-refund policy to make sure that the class seats are available for other dates. Do I need any experience in crafting to take this class? Nope! We will walk you through the basics. The only experience you will need is the navigation of your laptop.Do I need a PC or Mac? Both work perfectly fine. Chromebooks are unfortunately not recommended due to their 'app-like' software and restrictions. *If purchasing a ticket as a gift, please acquire The Craftpreneur giftcard in store to allow for the date/time of choice. The Craftpreneur reserves the right to reschedule/refund classes due to attendance, and will give 48 hours advanced notice.
