Urgently seeking a Woodshop Helper/ Machine Operator to become apart of the team! We are a family owned and operated manufacturing company located in Largo, with over 25 years of experience in crafting the highest quality custom-wood products for our clients. Our products include, but are not limited to cut to size components, cabinets, custom closets, casework & millwork. This position will consist of helping out in the shop where needed, feeding product through the edge bander and beam saw machine, assist with the process in getting it ready to be shipped, and making slight modifications to the current machine programs prior to operation. Ideal candidate will come from the woodworking industry. Someone who is self motivated, a self starter, and willing to jump in where needed! Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:00pm Fridays are half days Job Responsibilities: - Run, operate and modify CNC flatbed/nest machine (point to point) - Learn the edge bander and beam saw machine - Drill/cut holes/routed out - Assemble parts and pieces - Operate the sit down forklift as needed Qualifications: - Must have previous woodshop machine operating experience - Previous woodworking experience is preferred - Must have reliable transportation - Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screening - Forklift experience is a plus - Edge bander and beam saw machine operating experience is a plus Compensation starts $20-$22/hr based on experience with holiday pay!
