Please join us for a tour of the recently completed Chestnut Crossing multifamily project designed by River Architects and built by Simple Integrity in Cooperstown, NY. PRESENTERS Juhee Lee-Hartford, Founding & Managing Principal, River Architects Josh Edmonds, Managing Partner, Simple Integrity ABOUT THE PRESENTERS Juhee Lee-Hartford – River Architects founding and managing principal, Juhee has over 20 years of experience leading the design of progressive and sustainable facilities for public, educational, and residential clients. The firm was founded in Battery Park City in 2002 and moved to Hudson Valley in 2005. Her firm specializes in sustainable, Net Zero, Passive buildings with high design. The firm’s diverse portfolio includes private residences, multifamily projects, and small commercial buildings such as Seminary Hill, the world’s first Passive House Cidery in Callicoon, New York. River Architects is currently assisting NYSERDA and the New York Department of State with Round 5 and Round 6 Downtown Revitalization Initiative projects. Josh Edmonds – Simple Integrity's managing partner, Josh was born and raised in Cooperstown. He attended Liberty University where he majored in Criminal Justice and Strategic Intelligence. He met his wife, Jaime, there where they were both Division 1 Track and Field athletes. After graduating and getting married, Josh and his wife moved back to Cooperstown. Upon his return to construction, he partnered up with Jon Edgington to form Simple Integrity in 2013. As Simple Integrity has grown and developed, Josh enjoys the challenges of new projects and has become heavily involved in designing high-performance houses. He still prefers to work with his hands, but has learned to enjoy the finer points of managing a construction firm. In an effort to continually improving and learning, he became a Certified Passive House Consultant followed by a Certified Passive House Builder. Arrive 15 minutes prior to start time; the tour will begin promptly at 1:00pm. Parking will be available, but carpool if possible to reduce traffic on site. Refreshments will be provided before the tour at Mel's at 22, just a half block away at the corner of Chestnut St. and Main St. from 12:00-12:30 pm.
