The renewed Main Street, complete with new streets, wider sidewalks, traffic calming roundabouts, new landscaping and planings, was by all accounts a resounding success, bringing droves of new visitors to the destination village. The sewer project, completed this year, will do even more to heighten the tourist economy, allowing for more bars and restaurants, a new hotel and second-floor housing -- and cleaning up the bay to boot!
