You're invited to the February 4 Messy Church at Saint James! We'll start right at 4PM with the crafts and activity hour. This month's theme is "Love your neighbor." We'll be doing several crafts and community service projects to share love in our neighborhood, as well as making paintings about the Parable of the Mustard Seed. Then we'll have storytelling and singing (informal worship with Godly Play storytelling), followed by a free comfort foods dinner. We're planning on having homemade mac 'n cheese, a gluten-free / dairy-free pasta dish, sloppy joes, and ice cream. All are welcome!
Please note that this is not a drop-off event -- all children and teens must be accompanied by a responsible adult. If you have food allergies or need disability related accommodations, please e-mail us at [email protected] a few days before the event. We want everyone to be able to participate.
Are you wondering where to park? Free weekend parking is available at the church's parking lot at 29 Pearl Street, Kingston, NY and also at the county parking lot next door. Please enter Saint James at the door found right by our parking lot -- this leads to the elevator and stairs, both of which take you to the main floor where we have Messy Church. Feel free to bring friends!
