Join thousands to declare a commitment to valuing and protecting all human life in downtown Los Angeles! OneLife LA, on Saturday, January 21, 2023, celebrates the beauty and dignity of every human life. Themed “Our Mission is Love,” the event kicks off at Placita Olvera at 11 a.m. and walk to the LA State Historic Park (1245 N Spring St.) begins at 12 p.m. (noon) celebration at the LA State Historic Park will feature inspirational speakers, musical performances and service projects. Event will conclude at 4 p.m., followed by the “One Life, One Light Requiem for the Unborn” Mass celebrated by Archbishop José H. Gomez at 5 p.m. at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. Among OneLife LA’s notable speakers are Jess Echeverry, emotional, physical and sexual abuse survivor, Lauren Costabile from Hearts of Joy International who advocates for those with Down syndrome, and Ricardo and Modesta Pulido of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
