1:30-1:50 PM – Stretch & Refresh: 20 min Exercise Demo This stretching class is perfect to end the day, relax the body and find renewed energy as we perform head to tow stretches on and off the mat. This class is accessible to beginners. 2:00- 3:30 PM – Move Yourself Away From Pain – A Total Body Approach to Pain Management By Michael Romiza PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS and Tri Nguyen PT, DPT, OCS Physical Therapists Michael and Tri will discuss the multifactorial nature of pain, how our pain system can be an overactive alarm system and by having a better understanding of how pain works one can experience less of it. This session will provide education and strategies to return to activities you may be avoiding due to pain or fear. Management of stress and sleep will be discussed with a few techniques/screening questionnaires provided. Presented by Terrapin Physical Therapy; Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy Clinic in Ryan Ranch This presentation is open to all teens and adults of all levels of experience.
