The state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled. Tranquil. A natural state of being, serenity can often be elusive. The easiest way to find it in the body is to address what it is not. Muscle tension, digestive issues, and over-active brain (also known as the amygdala hijack), keeps us from having a sense of peace in our bodies. We sometimes need to right the ship that is our vessel on earth by finding fluidity, focus, letting go, letting go of letting go, and being empty.
