Montgomery Public Schools (MPS)has embarked on a capital projects program. The program will consist of projects related to new construction, renovations, and additions. The purpose of this event is to provide construction contractors information on how to participate in this capital program. There will be representation from the System leadership and the selected program management firm to answer questions related to the program. The Board of Education acknowledges that minority and female owned business enterprises have historically been under-represented in the award of district contracts. MPS is committed to ensuring the highest level of MBE companies involvement in the capital program. MPS has established a Minority Participation Policy and this event is to ensure those guidelines are met or exceeded. This event will be hosted by Volkert, KMS (Kemp Management Solutions), and KWZ.
