One Faith One Family- March 17-18 @ Mobile Convention CenterThis year’s One Faith One Family Conference celebrates the unity of the Church of the Archdiocese of Mobile. This is the time for everyone of the Archdiocese to come together to pray, learn and grow together in faith. Along with Archbishop Rodi, our keynote speakers will be Dr. Andrew and Sarah Swafford of Benediction College. Our speakers will help us explore the Marks of the Church: One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. The main conference takes place at the Mobile Convention Center on Saturday, March 18, beginning with our opening prayer at 9:00 and closing with Mass celebrated by Archbishop Rodi at 4pm. There will be a break shortly after 11 for participants to purchase their lunch from the concession stands or to walk to a nearby restaurant for a break. VBS-type activities will be available for preschool through middle school kids during the times that our keynote speakers are on stage. A nursery will be available for the little ones. A special pre-Conference event will take place on Friday evening, beginning at 5pm at Cooper Riverside Park. Music and games will be offered, and food will be available for purchase. At 6:15 the doors to the Convention Center will open, with a 6:30 welcome from Archbishop Rodi, followed by a music festival. Friday evening will end with Adoration and Benediction. Vendors will be joining us throughout Saturday with information, services and items to purchase.
