Mid-Winter, or referred to by the Celts, as Imbolc. It is the half-way point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.
The word "imbolc" means "in the belly of the Mother," because the seeds of spring are beginning to stir in the belly of Mother Earth. The term "oimelc" means ewe's milk. Around this time of year, many herd animals give birth to their first offspring of the year, or are heavily pregnant. As a result, they are producing milk. This creation of life’s milk is a part of the symbolic hope for spring.
To celebrate the coming of the spring, we will plant some seeds of our own (physically & metaphorically), after we do a release ceremony and Sound Bath Meditation with Reiki and make some Reiki infused Full Moon Water to water your seed with.
We will provide you with the seeds, dirt, pot, moon water jar & water.
Bring a mat, blanket and pillow or anything you need to feel comfortable.
Doors are locked at 12:05 PM and late entry is not permitted.
