Good day to you I am looking or a person who is interested in a part time "on call" gig. Turo is a car rental platform that is run by a person instead of an agency, like Avis, Enterprise, or Get around. Currently, I have two cars that are on Turo's car share platform and they are booked all the way through July 2023. I am looking for someone who would be willing to help make sure that these trips can be completed on all ends thoroughly, while maintaining the upkeep of the cars. Below, is a breakdown of the responsibilities, perks, and what I am looking for in the ideal candidate or applicant. Responsibilities - 6-8 month commitment (the middle of January to the beginning of August) - Pick up the cars, and complete a check out within 24 hours of the car being dropped off, after every trip - Take them to Cobblestone Carwash for a cleaning and a wash. There is a small chest in the back with cleaner and disinfectant that should be used after the washes for the interior. - Drop the cars off and complete a check in within 24 hours of the beginning of the trip. - Communicate with the guests through the Turo app and with me directly to ensure smooth trips - Taking the cars to all maintenance appointments Qualifications - License, insurance, and reliable transportation - Good driving record - Pass a driving test - Complete a ride along - Sign a contract Perks/Pay - A room in a shared residence for $700 (rental agreement to be signed). - Smart phone that should be used primarily for business - Negotiable hourly wage starting at $10/hour Really this position is for someone who is looking for a convenient part time on call type job that will provide side income. It is hard for me to say how much time is required for the position just because the trips are subject to change, especially with the way that flights are being canceled and delayed these days. But one pick up and drop off, especially done in the same day, can take about an hour and a half to do. The reason for the hourly wage is due to the perks that are included with the contract.
