I'm putting feelers out for this. I saw a touring band recently that was just guitar, bass, and mandolin with two singers and was surprised by how full the sound was, so I thought I might see if anyone would be interested in doing something similar. I'm a singer-songwriter/guitarist in my early 30s with a baritone voice. I was hoping maybe I could find another singer with a higher voice who played something like mandolin or fiddle and someone who could play upright bass. We could switch out singing our own songs plus whatever covers we want, and a smaller group opens up a lot of venue options. I feel like a lot of varitey could still be covered with a group like this, but my favorite style is like American/folk-rock like Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, and The Band. Should go without saying, but any age group/gender/race/sexuality is okay in my book. If you have any interest, let me know.
