Soul Riven is in search of a permanent bass player!! Here's some details as follows.. We are a black metal band from Portage, WI. We are looking for someone to fill the bassist position. Soul Riven has four songs with more being written and at the time polishing off parts as we get ready to record. We need a bass player that can come in and play, write bass parts, record when it's time, and contribute to the band if it's needed. (We have a band fund that pays for most things so contributions would include taking an amp to a show, help with shows, promoting the band, etc..) We tune in C Standard, and have equipment that can be used at practice, having your own for shows would be a plus!! We do do the full on corpse paint for shows as we all have a passion for black metal, so you'd kinda expected to create a "stage persona". Just an added note, we are looking for someone as dedicated as we are that can make practice once a week and play shows as much as possible, vibe with everyone else in the band, and have a good time while we all do what we love. All of us play in other bands around the Midwest metal scene so we're all pretty seasoned musicians.. We have a great following, played some shows, and are ready to get out more in 2023!!
