We're singing acoustic rhythm string, lead and percussion players looking for other lead instrument (violin, keys, flute, harmonica, etc.), singers (lead and background), and more from the greater northeast Akron area to help fill out our sound as well as continue to build a diverse capability for gigging in various configurations. (Geography matters (as does attitude!): Please be no further north than S.R. 82, nor south of S.R. 619, and no further west than S. Cleve-Mass Rd. [S.R. 21] nor east of State Route 44. We're centered among those boundaries--with FOUR folks and THREE good practice locations in central Cuyahoga Falls and Stow!) We've got a long list of songs we cover (not tribute) from what many would call the acoustic era of decades past, when creative famous performers from America to Neil Young held sway with catchy lyrics and melodies. Most but not all of what we have in our current setlists consist of what many would call folkrock, country-rock, folk, pop and blues. We also have some original songs that might interest you. We can provide tools to help you learn the songs we perform. Home practice using provided online materials--complemented by multiple in-person rehearsal locations--have worked for us, and as long as you have the electronic means to use one or another of provided formats, we're confident you'd like all those means, as well. Also, should YOU have songs that any of us find attractive, whether originals or covers, we'd love to include them as long as you can share similar learning tools with us! We're not too concerned about when we get out there gigging again, just that when we do we're all ready to entertain and have fun doing it! We're not "pros" and we don't expect you to be. (That said, rest assured that we use tried-and-true methods that will help ua again ensure success.) Optimism, patience and openness can help us all make the project successful.
