Kids Art Time! New Series beginning Thursday, Feb. 2nd, 2023 Kids Art Time; North Asheville Community Center 37 E. Larchmond Road, Asheville Thursdays from 3:30 pm - 5 pm Parents welcome to drop off or stick around Kids must be pre-registered for the entire series This Kids Art Time is intended to be a time to play with art materials, rather than to make a particular finished product. Art as process; art as play. Hannah Hoffman, the facilitator, has years of holding space for kids to experiment with art materials, their creativity, and their imaginations through private kids art groups, in public elementary schools, as a nanny, and in immersive, interactive art installations. She provides a wide array of art materials, and then guides children through questions, encouraging them to discover their own preferences. Often, the kids' inventiveness takes her breath away. ​ The cost is $120 for 8 sessions, running Thursdays from February 2, 2023 through March 23, 2023. Scholarships and/or work-trade may be available---email to inquire. ​ We will only hold Kids Art Time if at least four kids are registered by January 19th.
