Katey has been in the industry since 2016, specializing in curly hair since 2020. She is certified in the devacurl cutting technique as well as the rëzo cut & rëzolites method. She has received training from some of the best in the industry. Firstly her mentor Meg Conkling @curlyhairalchemist, @dessertcurlstudio, @milkhoneyhair, @aaronscottlacy, @nubiarezo & @hairloveart . Her favorite thing about teaching curly hair is helping students understand how to foster a healthy client/stylist relationship by giving them the tools they need to develop trust with clients and the confidence to execute a killer curly cut and style! Lauren will be celebrating 16 years in the industry this year and has been independent educating for the last 5. After receiving her Master Color Certification with Wella in 2017 she has grown to love teaching as much as she works behind the chair. Balayage is her passion and loves helping stylist all about helping their clients look and feel their best. Lauren has mentored and coached over 75 hairstylist to helping them achieve a seamless balayage effort, a skill clients are dying to learn. Laurens goal is to help stylist maximize their time behind the chair while also updating new talent with skills they’ll benefit from.
