Description
Meet Hank! We adopted Hank as a pup from Yancey County Humane Society in May of 2021. He’s been a great dog for us, but due to recent events we have decided to re-home him.
We are a large family, with five children, as well as Hank and his sister Dolly (not available). Hank has been amazing with our older children (3-15), but has recently shown aggression towards with our 18-month old daughter, forcing our hand in making this decision.
He is amazing, outside of this issue. Follows commands (sit, stay, lay down, etc.) Fully house-trained, crate-trained for our grocery/errand runs on bad weather days.
We would love to place him with an older family, with plenty of room to run. He’s a big goofball who loves to play.
He’ll be two years old this spring, and will need annual vaccinations in April 2023 He’s 60-70 lbs. He is micro-chipped as well. No major injuries or medical issues.
Would make a great farm dog, and brings lots of love and a great personality.

We need to re-home him ASAP or will we have to surrender him, and despite our recent problems, we don’t feel he deserves it.
If you feel like Hank would be a good fit for you, please reach out!
