Hauwa is recognized worldwide for her work with over 150 women and children tried under Sharia law in northern Nigeria, including two highly publicized cases in which she applied the rule of law to win appeals for women sentenced to death by stoning. Join us to hear her riveting story, including her role in helping secure intelligence leading to the release of Nigerian school girls kidnapped by Boko Haram.
