In the spirit of sharing new ideas, discoveries & theories, TEDxDeepEllum, an independently organized TED event, is hosting its first TEDx event! The theme this year is “Inked.” Being “Inked” is about wearing or leaving an impression that is visible for the world to see and experience. It can at times be uncomfortable to experience or awkward to discuss. Other times, being inked is a badge of honor that exclaims our belief, our pride, our hope, and our identity. We bring this theme to our community to philosophically represent the impressions we can make to change or innovate systems in society. We’re also looking to expand the conversation on how the social and economic climate has inked modern culture. Being inked can represent the way we see the world, and ourselves. At TEDxDeepEllum 2023, we welcome our community to gather and gain insight into how being “Inked” can frame our outlook and how we experience the world around us.
