This is a hands on workshop, as we explore the making of your own medicine drum. The ceremony of making your drum is one you will find to go beyond making the drum but giving your drum life. This class opens up the knowledge as to why the drum is such a great healer for all involved. Your drum becomes a beautiful part of your life. The first part of the workshop, we share the deeper meaning behind the drums power, why it is considered so sacred and healing. Then we begin the journey of making your drum, an experience you will cherish all your life. You will connect with its good medicine energy, it is one of the most sacred of ways to align with the heart beat of Mother Earth. You will also be making your drum beater which is also an experience. We will then share drum care. You will also learn how to use your drum in healing sessions, ceremony and just everyday use.
