Denver-area detective agency seeking new team member. Experience preferred but will consider training the right candidate. We will consider a sub-contract position, but the subcontractor must enter into an NDA before moving forward. Compensation is commensurate with experience. We offer medical, dental, vision through our group health plan. Paid vacation after 1 year of employment. This is a full-time position (30+ hours weekly). It is NOT a part-time or “moonlighting” position. You will often be required to work evenings and/or weekends, as needed, in the course of your assignments. You must be willing to travel to all parts of Colorado. Mileage compensation is paid for the use of your personal vehicle. Your personal vehicle must be dependable, in good repair, and you must possess a good driving record (no DUI or excessive points) and maintain adequate insurance. This is a telecommute position. We maintain a small office, but you will be required to operate from your home office. Even though you will be working from home, you will be required to work in the field when required (witness interviews, canvassing, surveillance/stakeouts, serving papers, obtaining reports from law enforcement agencies, etc.) You must have a newer computer/laptop (current generation with a Windows 10 (or later) operating system, utilizing typical MS platform (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Dedicated, dependable, high-speed internet connection. You must be familiar with communicating via Zoom or Skype for conference calls. A good printer is a must. You will be compensated for, or provided with, consumables for your in-home office equipment (ink/toner, paper, etc.) Investigations include missing persons (skip tracing), background investigations, asset investigations, witness interviews and canvassing, etc. Process service, especially difficult serves, are also normal for the position. This is not a process server position, but you will be required to serve papers. You must have good writing and communication skills. Professional appearance required at times.
