Job Position: CDL Driver / Material Handling Job Type: Full Time Hourly Rate: $22-$32 Base on experience Avondale Roofing is looking for a Material Handler to maintain, organize, and deliver materials to job sites. This position is based out of our Janesville, WI location and will service southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Job Description: Material Handler position is responsible for receiving new material, maintaining warehouse, preparing materials for jobs, and delivering materials to the jobsites. Key Responsibilities: • Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing orders. • Keeping and maintaining accurate counts of stock and inventory. • Delivering materials with boom truck and and/or trailer depending on load location of job. • Collaborate with purchasing when materials become low to replenish materials • Unload and pick up materials after jobs are completed. • Drive forklift to move materials around the warehouse. Job Requirements: • Mush have CDL license • Valid driver’s license and ability to be on company’s insurance. • Available to work Monday through Friday and occasional weekends as needed. • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Ability to climb ladders and walk around on roofs. • Ability to repeatably lift 50lbs of weight while walking and climbing up ladders and stairs. • Good communication skills both verbally and written. • Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions. • Possess A CDL Class A license in the state of Wisconsin or able to obtain.
