SanMar Maintenance Techician FULL-TIME $26.65/hr, plus $2000 new hire bonus 3700 4th Ave E, Shakopee, MN 55379 The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. Duties include: - Maintaining a safe, neat, and clean work area by adhering to SanMar’s safety regulations. - Performing minor and major repairs of all buildings and equipment. - Performing preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts check fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts. - Completing daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintaining records of scheduled maintenance procedures. - Operating a computer that controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems. - Installing electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed. - Repairing electrical equipment and control circuits; replacing faulty electrical switches May repair electrical locks and control panels to maintain building security. - Responding to emergency maintenance requests as required. - Assisting with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairing plaster and drywall; painting building structures. - Maintaining records of scheduled maintenance procedures. - Performing outside custodial duties such as snow removal as required. - Obtaining estimates for supplies, repair parts; ordering parts as needed. - Interacting with outsourced building services including (but not limited to) janitorial, document shredding, garbage collection, window cleaning, grounds keeping, and furniture repair. - May be required to operate powered lift equipment.
