We are expanding our business and looking for a Material Handler to join our team in Rosemount, MN. The Material Handler is responsible for handling and moving material in coordination with the Receiving Department, set-up, and organization by scrap type.  This individual will utilize various equipment such as forklifts, front-end loaders, and skid steers in the mill yard. While no prior experience is required, we do require a strong work ethic and commitment to our core values. WORK SCHEDULE:  - 3rd Shift: 5:00 pm-5:00 am - 3-2-2-3 rotating schedule (time and a half for over 40 hours) - Opportunities for overtime WAGES: - Starting base pay is $20.00/hr - $1.30/hr shift Premium for 3rd shift - Bi-Weekly Productivity Bonus Incentive! - $3/hr additional is guaranteed within the first 90-days - After 90 days, up to $6/hr additional for reaching production goals ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: - Movie material to designated locations by Melt Stock codes - Organize and discard all the packaging materials that come in (boxes, bags, and crates) - Identify contamination during the set-up process and relay that information to receivers - Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times - Obey all safety rules pertaining to rolling equipment in the work area QUALIFICATIONS: - Ability to work as part of a team - Willingness to learn about scrap - Able to read, write and communicate effectively - Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screen - Excellent attendance and ability to manage own time are required - Forklift, front-end loader, and skid steer experience is a plus but not required PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: - Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally - Work in outdoor conditions (heat and cold as dictated by outside temperatures) OUR TOTAL REWARDS OFFERING: - Medical, dental, life, and disability insurance - Paid Time Off, including your Birthday! - Paid holidays - 401(K) with match - Annual clothing allowance and much more!
