If your state gets more federal aid than it pays in federal taxes, you're living in a welfare state. Look at South Carolina. They take $8 in federal money for every dollar they pay in. That is theft. Blue states almost all pay in more than they get back. Red states almost all take more than they pay in. This has to change.
