-- I'm looking for a drummer, guitarist, and bassist at the moment. You don't have to be perfect. I'm not. I have some starting recording equipment, tons of lyrics, ideas, a little guitar experience, and a voice. -- (about me) Hi, I'm Red. I'm a lyricist/vocalist looking to start an experimental rock band. I'm in my 20s but can really vibe with anyone, as long as they're open to exploring sounds/ideas. I have a lot of lyrics in tow, as well as a bit of amateur guitar playing under my belt. I've never played live before or released a song, but it's 2023, and I'm ready to change all that. I'm a big visionary and love to take things into interesting places and test boundaries of what we're already accustomed to. I like eery, odd, unusual, theatrical, and eccentric visuals/films/sounds, and I like telling stories and sharing tragedies in my lyrics. Some supernatural/folklore type stuff with modern "woe is me" feel too. Some of my influences would be MCR, Des Rocs, Black Foxxes, Banks, The Decemberists, In This Moment, Ghost, Jack White, The Weeknd, Hozier, CAKE, IDK How But They Found Me, Florence + The Machine, lots more. I know they don't all fit in the same category, but what if they could? Hit me up if any of this sounds like you or if you have any suggestions/advice.
