I'm looking to either join an established duo/trio or get one going. I'd like to have a wide range of pop music ranging from Frank Sinatra to Lady Gaga and everything in between and we'd come up with our own acoustic versions of songs or even have tracks if necessary. A vocalist would be nice but I'm not opposed to it being an instrumental group. Would like to start playing restaurants, bars first but the goal is to focus on private events, weddings, corporate functions, etc. I primarily play electric bass but I want to incorporate my upright bass on some songs. Ideally I'd like to find a guitarist that sings but I'd be open to a violinist for an instrumental group. I'm 45 and have lots of experience playing in bands and really want to be a part of a more acoustic group. Thanks.
