I'm posting this for my mom. My mom purchased "Sadie" from a breeder when she was 6 months old. My mom has had her for about 8 months now. Sadie is extremely shy and skittish. My mom's vet has been working with her to no avail. The vet says that Sadie was not properly socialized and has obviously went through some traumatic events prior to my mom getting her. My mom was assured by the breeder that Sadie would be ok in time but that has turned out to be incorrect. Sadie needs a home with someone that can work with her, train her properly, and has a back yard for her to run around. She does love to play with her toys in the yard. She likes playing fetch. She will not walk on the leash and doesn't like wearing a collar even though she has one on in the pictures. It's very hard to get a collar on her so that makes me think she wore a cruel collar prior to my mom. Sadie is a sweet dog but is very wary until she gets used to you. She's going to take time. Please don't respond just because of her breed, please understand this is a difficult situation that's going to take a lot of time and patience. A small rehoming fee applies to ensure she does go to a good home.
