Can bands quit undercutting the price just to get work.
If you go into a gig for $350/$400, you’re killing it for the rest of us who deserve more money.
We already had a band dick us out of a gig telling the bar owner they’ll do it for less,
And that they could pack the place, Well, we were there and only had 15 people, and 5 of the were the band.
Bands are getting tired of bar owners saying
“ this band only charged me $400, so why should I pay you more?”
As the saying goes “ you get what you pay for.”
But, going into a gig just to fill your dates
for no money is just wrong.
And no one gives a rats ass if you’ve won a battle of the bands or how many times you play 8 Seconds.
