LKG Truck & Trailer Repair LLC, a South DFW-based repair service company (RECENT NEW LOCATION), is looking to fill multiple Diesel Technician/Mechanic positions. If you are mechanically inclined or have completed any vehicle repair training, are willing to learn, and interested in a stable career with a lot of opportunity for growth, join our team. We are currently seeking for Entry level and Experienced Mechanics. The ideal applicant will have the following qualities and qualifications: - Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred) - Strong work ethic, Attention to detail, Stress tolerance, Takes direction well, Fast learner. - The ability to solve problems and comfort using tools - Strong communication skills - Excellent customer service skills and communication skills - The ability to work well as part of a team and independently - Basic computer skills - Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job - Need to speak fluent English; bilingual (Russian, Spanish) is preferred but not required. - Knows how to work with no direction once they have been trained Duties shall include: - You’ll get to work on lots of different types of equipment—not just one manufacturer. We make sure you have the time you need to do the job right. Safety and reliability are our top priorities. - Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers. - Research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics. - Doing preventative maintenance repairs—like replacing or rotating tires—and completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles. - Partnering with your manager to learn new skills with hands-on coaching - Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Why LKG is for You: - We take pride in offering a competitive wage and great benefits after completion of a 90 days probation period. - This position, at this location, currently seeking to fill first shift, second shift and weekend positions. - This position, at this location, also offers individuals who hold a current and valid CDL will be eligible for an additional rate per hour increase for start. ***Do not email resume, COME IN PERSON*** Be ready with your resume for a 15 minute short interview.
