Harold "Fro" Davis plays solo guitar on Friday, Jan. 20 at Cargo Coffee East in Madison, WI. He plays one set at 6:30 pm sharp, opening for Jazz Flux from Milwaukee. Davis is a vibey electric guitarist and an ex-New Yorker, who moved to Madison six months ago. This will be Davis’ second performance in Madison. He melds rhythm & blues, funk, jazz, rock, ambient and other elements into his music. He has released three albums of instrumental music: "On Yur Mark, Get Set … Fro!," "The Paisley Album" and "Surprise Music."
