Ayam Cemani “the black chicken”

Half dozen for $30 and a dozen for $50. Ayam cemanis are pure black chickens with black meat. They originate from Indonesia and are considered rare. Their blood is mistakenly claimed to be black but it is a really dark red color. All eggs are sold before their 7 day laying time (7 days after an egg has been laid, their hatchability rate starts declining. We make sure we sell our hatching eggs before the 7th day!) At this time we do not have eating eggs. Once we do, we will be selling them for $5 a dozen. They will be farm fresh and unwashed. They may also be hatching eggs but will not be cemani eggs. At this moment we are not selling hatched cemani chicks. If we have enough customers who want hatching eggs, we will create a waitlist and we will start hatching some. The price for hatched chicks will be $100 for 5 unsexed chicks. If we hold any to be sexed, they will be $30 per cockerel and $50 per pullet.
