PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Description

The PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR ensures that their production lines meet quality standards of company and customers. And that production and processes conform to established GMP standards as well as USDA and FDA rules and regulations. This position reports directly to Operations Manager. Responsibilities: • Providing guidance and leadership to production line team members • Monitor production process, make periodic checks and adjust equipment or work practices according to standard operating procedures • Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members Requirements: • High school diploma or GED • 2+ years supervising production staff preferred • Food Manufacturing experience preferred • Basic math skills • Demonstrated leadership ability, and strong communication skills • Ability to work within timelines and in pressure situations • Ability to handle multiple priorities • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time and lift 30+ pounds.
