Greetings! My name is JimmyZ. I’m an experienced bass player 50+ in Loveland. Motown Funk Disco Dance Band Forming. Bass Player and drummer in place currently seeking guitar and female vocals. keys horns and male vocals to follow very soon. Mission Statement: To provide high paying and entertaining performance opportunities for talented musicians. Details: Loveland based. Rehearsal spot and PA available now. Vision and Longterm goals: There will be two versions of the band…a 4 or 5 piece version (5pc) and a ten piece (10pc). The 10pc is the eventual goal, the 5pc is stepping stone to get there and will still exist and function in parallel to the 10pc once things really get rolling. I’ve listed below a few of the artists that are typical of what the direction of the 10pc group will be. Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Billy Withers, Sly, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, EWF, Stevie Wonder, Sam and Dave, the Blues Brothers, Michael Jackson, the Temptations, Rare Earth…and more. Some disco mixed into the Motown really really worked well before and suspect it will again. Founding Members: Ideally, the five core member of this project will be playing together often and earning steady income. my goal is to assemble a group of seasoned top notch players that have the time and desire to get out there and perform as often as possible and to help build this into a quality profitable musical group and business…and have some fun along the way.
