Maintenance/Porter Job Description:
Our company is looking for a Maintenance Porter to join our team who is not afraid of some physical labor.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate ability to perform skills for communicating with residents, team members, and management;
Happy and fun interactions with residents, families, and staff;
Neat, clean, and professional at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community;
Housekeeping; Property Maintenance.
Clean and inspect property.
Removing trash from common areas on property.
Minor drywall repairs.
Requirements:
Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve;
Valid driver’s license;
Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally;
General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service;
Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required;
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and climb ladders;
Minimum 1-2 years of maintenance experience with apartment experience preferred;
Reliable transportation to and from work every single day;
Professional appearance and the ability to interact with residents in a professional manner.
