Join this annual day of recognizing the leadership of the Civil Rights and Black Power movements of the 50s and 60s and how the work to defend the civil and human rights of the African community continues today.
There will be historic video footage, a program of speakers, an outdoor volunteer project doing outreach in the community and then wrapping up with a pizza lunch and open mic. Music, snacks and a powerful day of programming all provided as well! Spend this MLK Day learning about the past and what can be done in the present, spend it in our community and contribute to programs that are on the ground today, developing self-reliance and self-determination in our communities!
Light Pizza lunch will be provided.
