Here's your chance to learn about the sport of curling. You have watched it on tv - so now give it a try for yourself! The Albany Curling Club is excited to once again be hosting a series of Introduction to Curling sessions January 6th through 8th! If you've ever been interested in curling, here's your chance to come and check it out. You will learn basic delivery and sweeping in 2-hour sessions and even get to throw some stones! This event is open to vaccinated adults and children 10 and over, so sign-up as a single or bring a group of family and friends to learn all about this very fun and social sport! ACC is a two-sheet curling club, so to maximize your experience we will be limiting the number of people per time slot to eight with four people/sheet. The event is $30 per person (non-refundable) and advance registration through this site is required. Walk-ins and guests are not permitted. Make sure to bring sneakers, a mask (if desired), and dress in comfortable layers (no jeans) that you can move in! All other equipment and instruction will be provided. COVID-Precautions: • ACC takes COVID-19 seriously, so all participants are required to have received COVID vaccinations and sign attestation form.
