Golden Retriever in need of great home

Description

Male 5 year old Golden Retriever in need of a new home through no fault of his own. He is being neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, groomed. Has been fully dewormed and heartworm tested. He does great with other dogs and children (has not met cats). Does not always know his size so older children (6 yrs+) are best. 90 lbs and currently on a diet (lost 10 lbs with another 10-15 to go) Needs a fenced in yard and someone who is active as he has LOTS of energy. Has been doing up to 6 mile runs and has more energy afterwards. Does calm down inside after a few minutes. Fully housebroken and crate trained. Sweetheart of a dog. Loves to cuddle and be by his people. Occasionally plays with other dogs but is more interested in people. Does not bark except when greeting you coming home. Does slightly (but constantly) pull on leash. We wrap leash around our waist for walks and this works well. Rehoming fee applies. Will be rehoming him no earlier than mid January.
