This event will provide an opportunity for members to get together to enjoy bird-related games, food, and of course … birds. Gibson Woods Nature Preserve has a terrific observation room, which allows birders to watch bird at the feeders while staying warm. In addition to games, the Dunes-Calumet Audubon Society will offer a short presentation on exciting happenings and opportunities in 2023. Tickets are limited and available for purchase until January 22nd. Becoming a Dunes-Calumet Audubon Society member helps promote birding through education, conservation, and scientific research for the betterment of Northwest Indiana natural habitats. If you are a National Audubon member (donor), then you are considered a chapter member of the Dunes-Calumet Audubon Society, if you live in our service area (Lake and Porter Counties). Our chapter receives a small percentage of the money for your membership (donation) to National Audubon. You can also become a chapter member at the local level on the Dunes-Calumet Audubon Society website.
